Queen Anne’s Little Friend captures the beauty of a small pollinator playing a critical role in life and our ecosystem. Depicting a small honeybee landing softly on a Queen Anne’s Lace flower as it makes it’s daily rounds for pollen, this piece is overflowing with rich and soft, dark blue hues, merging the foreground back into it’s blurred background. Soft, out of focus hues dance around the field with soft sunlight floating throughout the landscape, creating visual focus on this tiny creature and recreating the fleeting warmth of a Summer memory.
